FIT to Run

Strength Training for Runners

Calling all runners!

Join us for a 6 week limited series designed to build strength, endurance, power and performance in your runs.

Our NEW FIT to Run Program is a SIX week series of classes open to any runners (male or female) who are currently running or are ready to run.

If you are already running, we can’t wait to welcome you.

If you are thinking about starting a running routine we recommend:

  • that your are at least 6 months postpartum and ready for higher impact progressions that will support your runs

  • that you’ve consulted with a pelvic floor physiotherapist who has given you the green light to resume higher impact exercises.

  • that you’ve completed 6-8 weeks of low impact strength training prior to joining this series.

On-Demand

Your pass includes:

  • Six 30-45 minute classes

  • A Runner’s Warm-up

  • A PDF with our 5 km Learn to Run Plan

  • Healthy recipes (complements of Honestly Nourish)

Recommended Equipment:

  • Free Weights (great if you have them, but you can be creative if you don’t)

  • Loop / Resistance band (highly recommended)

  • Foam roller / tennis ball (highly recommended)
